Srinagar 26 October (KNB): A grenade was hurled by suspected militants on security forces at Sumbal bridge on Tuesday morning in North Kashmir’s Bandipora, leaving a woman and five other civilians injured.
As per an official, the grenade attack took place at Sumbal bridge and was aimed at security forces. He said that in the attack, six civilians were injured.
The hurled grenade left six civilians injured after it had exploded away from the intended target.
During the attack, some vehicles in the proximity to the site of the grenade attack incurred damages with a few vehicles’ window glasses reduced into pieces.
The injured civilians among whom one was a woman were later on shifted to a hospital in the area for treatment. (KNB)
