Srinagar 12 September (KNB): An encounter started between Security Forces and militants on Sunday morning in upper Barote village of Thanamandi area of Jammu’s Rajouri district.
As per an official, the encounter broke out between the two sides after a cordon and search operation was carried out by security forces in the Barote village of Thanamandi this morning.
At the moment, the gunfight is said to be going on in the area, and no casualty has been reported from either side, engaged in the encounter.
It is pertinent to mention that there has been a couple of engagements between security forces and militants in the Rajouri’s Thanamandi area recently in which a few militants were killed. (KNB)
