Srinagar 01 September (KNB): Security forces on Wednesday morning recovered a cache of ammunition in central Kashmir Ganderbal’s Sadra-Bagh forest area.
As per officials, during a search operation in the Sadra-Bagh area of Ganderbal, the searching parties comprising of SOG and CRPF recovered a cache of ammunition from a hidden place in the forest area.
“Rounds of AK-47, along with two magazines, loose 9mm rounds, various other rounds and several hand grenades were recovered, early in the morning by @crpf_srinagar with Ganderbal Police from Sadra Bagh forest area,” tweeted Srinagar Sector CRPF.
However, after the recovery of the ammo, the police have taken up an investigation into it with case also registered regarding the same. (KNB)
