Srinagar 19 August (KNB): Two cops and one civilian got injured in Srinagar’s Saraf Kadal area on Thursday evening when a grenade was lobbed at naka party by suspected militants.
As per an official, the grenade attack took place at Saraf Kadal area of Srinagar during which two policemen and a civilian got injured.
Both the cops received injuries after the grenade exploded in close proximity to them. Later, the injured duo and the civilian were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
However, after the attack, the suspected militants fled from the spot and the area was cordoned off by security forces to hunt the assailants. (KNB)
