Srinagar 06 August (KNB): Security forces have killed two militants in an encounter on Friday which took place between the two sides in Jammu’s Rajouri district.
As per officials, two militants have been killed in the operation in Rajouri’s Thanamandi area which started on Friday after security forces carried out a cordon and search operation.
Earlier police said that the contact has been established with the militants and almost after an hour two militants have been confirmed of being killed in the operation.
However, the identities and affiliations of the slain militants are yet to be known.
It was also said that the operation is still going on in the area. (KNB)
