Srinagar 28 June (KNB): Encounter has started between militants and security forces on Monday afternoon in Srinagar outskirts, said police.
As per an official, the encounter started after a cordon and search operation was carried out by a joint team of security forces in Srinagar’s Malhoora area of Parimpora after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.
Regarding the encounter, police said, “Encounter started at Malhoora #Parimpora area of #Srinagar. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.” (KNB)
