Srinagar 06 March (KNB): The residents of the kawoosa lane area of HMT of the Srinagar outskirt appeals the Power Development Department (PDD) to restore the electricity in the locality and upgrade the power distribution system in the locality .
The people alleged that despite the repeated requests to chief engineer PDD to install the transformer in the locality to ensure feasible electric supply to the locality but no action was taken to improve the power distribution system
Talking to Kashmir News Bureau Aashiq Hussain a local resident said “the electricity facility to area is based on the temporary lines, which are not efficient to cope with the load capacity of the locality are are hence damaged frequently.
He further added that the authorities are less bothered to listen to grievances of the common people.”
The temporary lines are posing the risk to the residents of the colony, we appeal the chief engineer Hashmat Qazi to look into the matter and direct the concerned AEE to install a transformer ” an elderly person said (KNB).
