70-year-old COVID-19 positive man dies in Valley, fifth death in J&K

Srinagar 17 April (KNB): A 70-year-old man died of the novel coronavirus at SKIMS Bemina, taking the number of COVID-19 deaths in J&K to five.

According to reports, the deceased is resident of Arampora in Sopore town of North Kahmir’s Baramulla district.

According to Kashmir News bureau, Skims official said that, “Deceased Covid-19 patient from Sopore was having long clinical history.”

Pertaintely, The first coronavirus death was that of a 65-year-old man from Sopore who had also tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection. The man succumbed to the viral infection on 26 March.

Meanwhile, Restrictions on movement imposed in Kashmir to prevent the spread of coronavirus were tightened. (KNB)
