Srinagar, 28 Sep(KNB): In a commendable effort to enhance the skill set of rural youth in Srinagar, the 54 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), operating under the auspices of CRPF’s Srinagar Sector and under the guidance of Range Srinagar South, has initiated a free Mobile Phone Hardware Repair Technician course.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that the one-month course, inaugurated by Shri Sunil Kumar Savita, Second-in-Command of the Battalion, aims to equip 15 youths hailing from remote villages in the Harwan Block, including Dara, Faqir Gujari, Theed, New Theed, and others, with the expertise needed to repair mobile devices and smartphones.
“For this noble endeavor, the CRPF has partnered with Wyath Services Private Limited, a reputable company boasting faculty with over two decades of experience in mobile phone repairs. The comprehensive course not only covers various aspects of mobile phone repair but also delves into hardware issue detection, battery connector power supply tracing, disassembly and reassembly of device components, resolution of network and fingerprint sensor issues, and the utilization of instrumentation devices,” statement added.
The CRPF has a longstanding tradition of connecting with the communities in the areas it serves, and this skill development initiative exemplifies its commitment to the betterment of society. By offering this course free of charge, the CRPF aims to empower local youth by imparting valuable skills that can lead them towards self-reliance and employment. This initiative is a testament to the CRPF’s dedication to fostering self-sufficiency among the youth of rural Srinagar and integrating them into the mainstream job market, statement said.(KNB)
