3 more test positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir, cases rise to 109

Srinagar 05 April (KNB): With the detection of three new positive cases in Kashmir, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 109.
According to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), Rohit Kansal Principal Secretary (Planning and Information) said, 3 more persons have tested, all these cases are from Kashmir.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Union territory includes four patients who have recovered and two deaths, both in Kashmir.

Talking to Kashmir News Bureau “ Director Skims Dr A.G Ahanger said that “ We are monitoring the patient management and taking reviews every now.”

“310 suspected patients treated so far while as 26 positive cases are under treatment in isolation ward.” he further said

More than 32,000 people have been kept under surveillance, including 10,600 who are either in government established quarantine facilities or in home isolation.

144 more persons who were shifted into administrative quarantine upon their return to Srinagar two weeks ago were discharged Monday after successfully completing their 14-day quarantine period, officials said. (KNB)
