Bandipora 19 August(KNB): A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Hajin, a region within the north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, as a 2-year-old boy named Uzair Fayaz tragically slipped into a canal and lost his life on Saturday.
According to an official report, Uzair, the son of Fayaz Ahmad from Srinagar, was crossing a culvert when he accidentally fell into the canal.
Despite efforts to retrieve him, his body was found just 50 meters away from the spot where the accident occurred.
The boy was rushed to CHC Hajin, but unfortunately, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.(KNB)
