14 more test positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir, cases rise to 106

Srinagar 05 April (KNB): By recording 14 new positive cases in Kashmir, the number of cases in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 106 on Sunday, officials said.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Union territory includes four patients who have recovered and two deaths, both in Kashmir.

According to KNB, Rohit Kansal Principal Secretary (Planning and Information), said, 14 persons have been tested positive in Kashmir today.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the Union territory has now reached 106, the officials said.

Meanwhile,Seven patients have tested negative after undergoing treatment. They will undergo another test before they are discharged from the hospital.

Earlier, the authorities have tested 1,397 samples for COVID-19, out of which 1,250 have tested negative and results for 55 were awaited.(KNB)
