Srinagar 08 March (KNB):The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) declared higher secondary part II results on Monday morning, with the passing percentage of students recorded as 80 per cent.
The 12th class examination, as per JKBOSE, was given by 58,397 students, out of which 46,987 have passed.
However, 30,960 boys and 27,437 girls had appeared in the 12th class annual examination. The pass percentage of successful girls and boys has been recorded as 83% and 78%, respectively, with an overall pass percentage of result making to 80%.
It is pertinent to mention that the first position across all the streams has been secured by the girls.
Four girls in the Science stream secured the first positions, and in other streams of Commerce, Arts and Home Science, three girls made it to the first place. (KNB)
