Srinagar 08 July (KNB): Continuing the Wellness Civic action programme, under the aegis of Srinagar Sector, CRPF, two free medical camps were organized on Thursday by 118 BN CRPF, reads an official communique.
As per the communique, two medical camps were held to reach out to Pony handlers at Domail and other needy people at Sitkadi, Gund, district Ganderbal. “The initiative drew a very good response and was received well by the locals,” the communique reads.
On the occasion, Dr. Basharat Mughal Medical Officer, 25 Bn and Dr Manoj of 118 Bn, provided consultation and medicines to more than 100 Pony handlers, their families at Domail and around 100 needy patients of Village Sitkadi, Tehsil Gund Distt Ganderbal.
It further said that the event was attended by Dr Satyaveer Verma, Commandant, 118 BN CRPF, Sarpanch of Village and officials of Amarnath Yatra Welfare Society. (KNB)
