Kapil Sharma finally breaks his silence on the retaliation from fans who are demanding Salman Khan to ban the comedian from The Kapil Sharma Show.

Once again comedian and actor Kapil Sharma is making the headlines. Kapil, who came out in support of Navjot Singh Sidhu, is now facing the wrath of fans on social media. Sidhu, whose controversial comments on Pulwama terror attack triggered the masses, was replaced by Archana Puran Singh after the retaliation. After seeing Kapil’s stand, fans took to social media to ask Salman Khan to ban the comedian from his show.

Now Kapil Sharma has finally broken his silence on the whole episode. In his defence, the comedian emphasised on how everyone has a different approach towards dealing with terrorists and how helping out families of the martyrs is a part of it. He also didn’t fail to mention that the Armed Forces of India will give an appropriate reply to the malefactors.

Fans were disappointed and outraged after seeing Kapil’s response to banning Sidhu from the show. The comedian, who said, “Banning someone is not the right solution”, hurt the sentiments of those condemning the Pulwama terror attack.

Not just fans but also Ashoke Pandit, the co-producer of The Kapil Sharma Show, showed enrage towards Kapil’s statement and insisted Salman Khan to ban him too. Ashoke Tweeted, “Dear @BeingSalmanKhan. Would like U to act against @KapilSharmaK9 for supporting @sherryontopp ‘ s antinational activities. This request is being made to U as you are the producer of the show.  #BoycottKapilSharma @SonyTV”.

As far as the position of Navjot Singh Sidhu is concerned, there is still some confusion if the ex-Indian cricketer has been banned from the show, permanently. Meanwhile, popular TV personality, Archana Puran Singh, who has temporarily replaced him, has already shot a few episodes. Whether she is permanent or not, is still unknown.
