Budgam, Jan 21(KNB):Two unidentified militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter that broke out between militants and the government forces in Hapatnar area of Charar-e-Sharif of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
As per the reports, army had intelligence inputs about the presence of militants and had launched a cordon and search operation.
A joint team of army and the state police were carrying out searches when the hiding militants opened fire, triggering a gunfight.
Meanwhile, Authorities snapped the mobile Internet service in central Kashmir’s Budgam district and Pulwama on Monday following a gunfight between militants and the government forces.
