Police register case against BJP district president for abusing Govt official

Bandipora 30 September (KNB): Police on Sunday filled a complaint against Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) district president Bandipora Waseem Bari, for allegedly using abusive language on Block development officer (BDO) Bandipora.




According to officials, Block Development Officer Riyaz Ahmad has registered a complaint against Waseem Bari, for allegedly using abusive language against him.

Bari used abusive language against me in my office,” the BDO said in his complaint.

Bari is contesting Urban Local Body (ULB) elections for Bandipora municipal committee from Ward number 13.

However, Police has registered case under FIR. No 136/2018 u/s 353 RPC has been registered against BJP district president in Police station Bandipora. (KNB)
